in March parent teacher conferences were held where your parents had the chance to speak to your teachers about the inside scoop on student progress achievements and goals for the rest of the year from glowing reviews to helpful feedback these meetings were all about teamwork ensuring every student is on track for Success whether it was discussed strengths areas for growth or setting new academic goals families and teachers work together to build a brighter future for all in April Miss Costa held a family paint night where an instructor named Eddie Grigg came to lead parents and students for an hour and a half step by step class while everyone painted there was assuming sound of music playing in the background in May students end parents participate in family fun night this took place in May 1st families from all over came in to join in on the fun and there were so many cool activities like cooking Sports and even steam activities it was a night full of learning laughing in teamwork also invited into classroom to check out the hmh end of unit celebration pieces and now over to mussina for our feature Story the student government is also working on Project there's going to be a bulletin import outside of the main office with a great paw print in the middle stating you are part of our pack there will be a colorful Post-its surrounding it with positive affirmations from each class we can't wait to see this project in and now over the hunter with the sports update here's an update on our na wolves the last game which was against is98 the Wolves lost n 49 uh to 46 close game the next home game will be a live stream by the media team let us know if you want the link I wolf pack welcome to teacher Spotlight where we shine a light on the amazing things our teachers are up to today we're featuring Mr Rivera who competed in the NYC half marathon 13.1 miles stick around as we hear more about her incredible what inspired you to take on the challenge of running the half marathon well you know that's a great question um for several is now I've been running the tunnel to Towers 5Ks which is 3.14 miles and I've been doing it for many years um to honor my sister's memory and I've decided you know what I'm doing them so often right I'm running I you know what I'm going to give myself a challenge and try to run 13.1 all right it's time for our new segment on the spot with Mina let's see what she's got for us today can you use the term Crush out sentence yeah of course I'm going to crash out with my students don't do their homework can you use the word cap in a sentence when my students say their cat eat their homework that's cap thanks for watching
